/etc/init.d/smbfs automatisch starten (Suse 10)

Hallo,

ich probiere ein Windows Share automatisch beim Start zu mounten.
Bin nun mittlerweile soweit gekommen das ich wenn ich als root /etc/init.d/smbfs start eingebe das Laufwerk mounte und auch die User drauf zugreifen können.
Nur macht er das beim starten nicht von selbst, da steht im Startprotokoll smb connection failed...
Symlinks für Start und Stop sind in rc5.d erstellt.
Warum funktioniert es von der Konsole im KDE aber nicht beim Start?
An meiner smbfstab kann es ja offensichtlich nicht liegen, sonst würde es ja gar nicht gehen,oder?

Der Symlinks ist SXXsmbfs. Was steht denn für ein XX bei Dir. Zuerst sollte das Netzwerk inkl. Routing oben sein und die Firewall durchgestart haben.

Hmm, komme an den Rechner erst am Montag wieder ran, der steht auf Arbeit.
Die Firewall ist inaktiv, das Netz wird über die Firewall im Router geschützt.
Ich habe hier bei mir die gleiche suse von der gleichen DVD installiert.
Hier ist es S14smbfs.
Müsste ja normalerweise die gleiche Konfiguration sein wie bei dem auf arbeit.
Ist es normal das mehrere einträge mit S14 beginnen?
Wenn ich das richtig verstehe arbeitet das System beim hochfahren in Runlevel 5 die S(start)-Scripte der numerischen Reihenfolge nach ab, und beim runterfahren dann die K(ill)-Scripte?
Dürfen denn dann mehrere die gleiche Position in der Liste beziehen?

Hallo Sven,

ja, das ist normal. Sie werden letztlich nicht wirklich nach Nummer abgearbeitet sondern nach Auftauchen im Verzeichnis. D.h. kleinere Nummern natürlich zuerst. Bei gleichen Nummern geht es eben nachher mit dem Alphabet weiter (lexikalische Ordnung).

Eigentlich sollte die Installation im Wesentlichen gleich sein, aber man weiß ja nie.

So, habe jetzt mal geschaut, smbfs hat die 14 verpasst bekommen, dnach kommt nur noch cron,haldaemon,powersaved und cupsrenice. Ebenfalls die 14 haben: nscd und postfix.
Erkennt da jemand einen Grund dafür drin das smbfs beim automatischen Start keine Verbindung aufbaut, aber das ganze von KDE aus super klappt?
Werden die Scripte aus init.d eigentlich automatisch als root ausgeführt?
Eigentlich ja,oder?
Ich habe überhaupt keine Ahnung warum das nicht geht, ich finde das absolut unlogisch. :-/

Hab es mittlerweile hinbekommen, zwar "unsauber" aber es funktioniert.
Hab es so gelöst das ich dem Benutzer erlaube das smbfs zu mounten und das ganze dann mittels script im Autostart Ordner erledigt.
Werd mir doch wegen der Sache nicht noch graue Haare wachsen lassen. *gg*
