Problem: subwoofer auch bei stereo an! [Audigy 2 ZS]

Hallo,
wie schon oben zu lesen ist, habe ich das Problem, dass ich immer ein Pseudo 5.1 sound habe selbst wenn ich nur ein normales Stereo Audio/Videofile abspiele.
Ein Pseudo 5.0 wäre schön.
Ich will nunmal den Subwoofer wirklich nur bei 5.1 Titeln hören.

Zu meinem System:
Distro: Gentoo (gebaut mit Stage 1), der aktuelle stable
Kernel: 2.6.13-gentoo-r5 mit Soundkartenstuff als module

Das Problem tretet generell bei allen Playern auf. Zwar benutz ich von mplayer die cvs version (wegen h.264 support) und bei VLC benutz ich ne aktuelle beta aus den gentoo portage (ich hab die meisten USE-Flags an)
Als Standardoutput müsste alsa eingestellt sein...aber es ist egal ob ich alsa, sdl oder oss nehme. Ich hab bei mplayer auch schon "-channels 2" probiert ohne erfolg. Ich hab auch "-ao alsa:forcechan=2" probiert...Er sagt, dass er es nicht erkennt.

Kann es daran liegen, dass diese beiden Versionen dev sind...

oder ist es (was ich glaube) eine alsa einstellungssache?

Ich hab gelassen, was mir der alsaconf eingerichtet hat.

Oder liegt es daran, dass ich noch ne Stereo Onboardsoundkarte habe?

Ich bedanke mich schon mal über die Hilfe.;)

Angeschlossen ist alles richtig! Unter Win hab ich auch alles richtig.

und die Verkabelung habe ich auch nochmals getestet....da stimmt alles....

Ach ja zu meinem Sorround Sys. ich hab ein "Teufel Concept E"

Ich glaube eher, dass der irgendwie die kanäle dupliziert, so das alle Kanäle angesprochen werden...blos wie kann man das unterbinden

Change the number of playback channels (default: 2). If the number of output channels is bigger than the number of input channels empty channels are inserted with the help of the channels audio filter (unless mixing from mono to stereo, then the mono channel is repeated in both output channels). The routing will be the default routing for the channels filter. If the number of output channels is smaller than the number of input channels, results depend on the audio decoder (−afm). MPlayer asks the decoder to decode the audio into as many channels as specified. Now it’s up to the decoder to fulfill the requirement. If the decoder outputs more channels than requested, the exceeding channels are truncated. This is usually only important when playing videos with AC3 audio (like DVDs). In that case liba52 does the decoding by default and correctly downmixes the audio into the requested number of channels.
NOTE: This option is honored by codecs (AC3 only), filters (surround) and audio output drivers (OSS at least).

Aber wie ich bereits erwähnt hatte funktioniert das nicht.
