Hallo,
ich habe die Sprachausgabe unter KDE installiert und von Packman
mbrola und ne Sprachdatei geladen und installiert.
Beim testen des Sprechers unter der Sprechereinrichtung kommt keine
Soundausgabe sondern folgende Meldung:

Die Soundkarte ist ne onbord Karte und wurde von Yast richtig erkannt.
Das Abspielen von CD und wav Dateien läuft tadellos.

Der Aufruf von Sound testen im KDE Kontrollmodul - Sound System führt ebenfalls zu einem Absturz mit folgender meldung:

Habs selber gelöst.
Nachdem ich die KDE Pakete komplett neuinstalliert habe
gehts jetzt.
Die deutschen Sprachpakete zu mbrola sind übrigens zum Teil wirklich gut.
Zumindest ist der gesprochene Text gut zu verstehen.
