Hi,

ich habe Debian, udn dort war das Packet Wine schon dabei, so habe ich es installiert. Dann habe ich mir Setam.exe runtergeladen und wollte diese installieren udn dann bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung wenn ich wine steam.exe eingebe

Was mache ich falsch und was muss ich ändern?

Hast du ne grafische Oberfläche gestartet ?

Deine Fehlermeldung deutet darauf hin, dass versucht wurde Wine auf einer nicht-grafischen Konsole zu starten und das da die Installationsroutine nicht funktioniert, ist ersichtlich.

Welche Version von Wine hast du ("wine --version") ?

wie starte ich den wine in einer grafischen Oberfläche, so damit es funktioniert...

Du startest ja deinen favorisierten Windowmanager (GNOME, KDE, WindowMaker,...). In diesem öffnest du einfach ein X-Terminal.

Schau mal bitte in deiner config-Datei von Wine nach - zu finden unter ~/.wine/config - ob im Abschnitt



[wine]
...
"GraphicsDriver" = "x11drv"
...


Der GraphicsDriver auf "x11drv" steht und nicht auf "ttydrv".

sorry, aber wie genau öffne ich ein X-Terminal ich habe KDE...

Du solltest in der unteren Menüleiste normalerweise ein Icon haben, dass dir eine Konsole öffnet, in die du was hineintippen kannst - sorry, genauer geht es nicht, da ich keinen KDE / GNOME bei mir laufen habe.

Alt+F2 und dort "konsole" eingeben.

ok ich habe das alles gemacht und wenn ich in der konsole in kde eingebe wine steaminstall.exe dann kommt die oben gennante fehlermeldung..

also die installation ist kein problem mehr und auch das er sich updatet aber wenn ich es starten will sagt er mir das er einen explorer braucht wo aktive x installiert ist und wenn ich auf nein klicke, dann kommt folgende fehlermeldung:

Steam.exe (main exception): Win32 StructuredException at 42C805EO: Attempt to read from virtual adresse 98583224 without appropiat rights

Genau an de Stelle hängt er bei mir auch und ich weiß da leider auch nicht mehr weiter :(

Ich weiß ... was man noch machen könnte: Jede bisher erschienene Version von Wine rückwärs her mit Steam zu testen. Dauert ne Weile, aber könnte ein Weg sein.

kann ich vielleicht auch irgendwie anderes das problem lösen er sagt mir ja immer nur das es daran liegt weil er nicht aktivex installieren kann...

Du kannst zwar das Mozilla Active X Control (http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/mozilla.htm) installieren, aber viel weiter wirst du nicht kommen, nur die Meldung verschwindet.
