Probleme habe ich im moment damit, dass sounddevice zum laufen zu bekommen und xorg mit so hinzubekommen, dass ich auch die konsolen auf F1-F6 noch nutzen kann. ACPI wird hier in einem anderen thread ja schon behandelt.

Mein System ist übrigens ein Gentoo Linux

installier mal alsa-config (ich glaub, ein teil von den alsa-utils) und führ es aus. im dialog wählst du dann den richtigen treiber aus (intel-irgendwas) - und der sound sollte funktionieren... ich hatte das gleiche problem bei meinem asus-laptop, auf dem ich allerdings 1000e zeilen mit "Codec Semaphore" usw. bekommen habe

Übrigens toll von Toshiba bei mir kein Intel-WLAN-Chip einzubauen...für dieses Teil gibt es nämlich keinen Linux-Treiber.

aber hast du keine centrino technology drin? oder gibt es auch centrino mit nicht-intel-chips?


achja, knoppix funktionierte auch nur soweit, wie mein gentoo jetzt, also kein sounddevice, suse ebenso..


so, nachtrag:
wollte meinen kernel zwar auf module aufbauen, aber nachdem ich den treiber für sound fest in den kernel installiert habe geht es nun.. nun also nur noch das mit dem X, aber die nacht ist ja noch jung :cool: :rolleyes:
