cups: USB Drucker, URI Problem

Hallo,

ich hab ein Debian installiert mit cups usw. und auch HPLIP

cups-web zeigt mir, wenn hplip gestartet ist beim Druckeranlegen:

Geräte URI: hp:/usb/deskjet_3600?serial=TH37S111M86B

ohne hplip:

Geräte URI: usb://3650?serial=TH37S111M86B

Auf dem mit "hp:/" kann man nicht drucken. Aufträge werden entgegengenommen, bleiben aber in der queue hängen. Drucker regt sich nicht.
cups-web zeigt dann auch mal an "unable to open device"

Auf dem mit "usb://" geht das drucken.

Wie kann ich nun cups mit Hilfe von hplip zu drucken überreden?

Drucken geht bei mir auch nicht mehr (Mandriva). HP-USB-Drucker. Laut CUPS-Interface werden die Aufträge abgebrochen. Keine Ahnung, was da los ist.

Ich hab jetzt hplip ausm runlevel rausgeschmissen und unter cups den Drucker als ganznormales "usb://" Gerät eingerichtet. Die vielen HP Modelle (foomatic + irgendwas) waren trotzdem verfügbar.

Geht einwandfrei..

War wohl doch etwas Schwerwiegenderes. Die neuen Treibern von HPLIP, Version 0.9.4 vom 20.7.2005, kann ich wieder fehlerlos kompilieren. Der Drucker selbst nimmt die Aufträge jetzt auch wieder an.
