CounterStrike startet nicht

Hallöle allesamt :D
Ich hab letztens mal mein altes Half-Life1 ausgekramt und installiert. Danach Steam und CS. (Das ganze mit CEDEGA)
Ich kann Steam perfekt starten, allerdings, wenn ich in der Kategorie "Meine Spiele" auf CounterStrike: Source klicke, darf ich mich neu anmelden, da Steam und Cedega den Geist aufgeben. Hätte vielleicht irgendjemand ne ahnung wie man das zum laufen kriegt?

..lies weiter, direkt darunter steht das er auf irgendetwas nich zugreifen kann, weil die Rechte nicht stimmen, inkli. Quelle wo Du was nachlesen kannst...

Versuchs mal als root zu starten und welche distri hast du denn?hast du deinen Grafiktreiber installiert weil in der Meldung irgendetwas von Nvidia steht das würde ich mal checken....

Allerdings gibts im Vollbildmodus nen Fehler: W_LoadWadFile: couldn't load gfx.wad

überigens bin ich kompletter linux-non-checker :p

Was ist eine Distri?

Mit Distri meinte er Distribution. Das sind diese Zusammenstellungen wie z.B. SuSE Linux, Fedora, Knopix, Debian, Gentoo, Ubuntu usw. usw. usw.

Ich vermute mal als Anfänger hast du SuSE Linux, Fedora oder Knopix?



Allerdings gibts im Vollbildmodus nen Fehler: W_LoadWadFile: couldn't load gfx.wad

Da scheint der Fehler zu sein, dass er eine Resource nicht findet, welche zum Spiel gehört. Hast du auch alles richtig installiert?

Debian benutz ich. Ist bis jetzt für mich das Beste ^^

Ich bin eher ein Fortgeschrittener Amateurfortgeschrittener :ugly:
In der FAQ steht nix über die berechtigung ändern :mad:
Und ich probiers nochmal mit alles runter und nochmal rauf. So:

Du musst dich in die Gruppe "video" begeben.

Ediere ( als root!! ) /etc/group und suche die Zeile:
video:x:[irgendwas]:[Benutzer in der Gruppe]

Füge deinen Benutzernamen zu den Benutzern in der Gruppe hinzu.
So sieht die Zeile z.B. bei mir aus:
video:x:44:sysadmin,mrsuicide

Danach neu anmelden, damit die Änderung aktiv wird.

also so wie ich das jetzt verstehe kannst du in das Spiel hinein wenn du als root angemeldet bist aber dann kommt der fehler wegen gfx.wad?
Aber das ist ein genereller Steam/Counterstrike fehler...
Ich würde dir empfehlen Steam komplett neu zu installieren und diesmal als user....weil wenn du Steam nur als root starten kannst wirst du es auch als root installiert haben oder?

Habs neuinstalliert, jetzt funktioniert es. allerdings kommt dane steam-meldung:

Bitte probieren Sie es ein anders Mal.

mache dann immer um mich nicht weiter zu ärgern(habe CS/Steam in /home/user/.transgaming/c_drive/Progr...)

geht nicht. Transgaming hat irgendwas mit meinem Account rumgewurschtelt, jetzt muss ich warten bis die den geflickt haben *seufz*
