hallo,
ich hab mir eine pcmcia wlan karte von netgear gekauft, model WG511T revision 2 - made in taiwan.
habe mir die madwifi treiber gezogen und installiert. ein anschliessender verbindungstest lief problemlos.
anschliessend habe ich mir das programm kismet runtergeladen und mit ./configure && make && make suidinstall installiert. (habs auch mal ohne suidinstall durchgespielt mit dem selben problem)
in der kismet.conf habe ich noch einen user eingestellt und hab die schnittstelle mit 'madwifi_ag,ath0,mylan' eingerichtet.
wenn ich nun das programm starte bekomm ich diese meldungen:
