Interessante Alternative Zu Point2Play

Da ich Suse 9.3 einsetze und p2p probleme bei mir bereitet,habe ich mich nach einer alternative umgesehen ist zwar nicht perfect aber schon ziemlich nah dran.

kann aber nicht sagen ob es mit der cvs version hinhaut da ich für cedega löhne eine investition die sich eigentlich lohnt.

p.s. hat einer daselbe problem mit p2p mann kann zwar alles aussuchen und install drücken und nicht paßiert ? , und habe bei stronghold2 und empire earth2 keine schriften in den menues ? :confused: :confused:

@paule das kann auch noch ein wenig dauern bis diese spiele laufen ,es sind spezielle apis notwendig die transgaming noch hinzufügen müssen.

Bei mir läuft kein Spiel mit Point2Play unter Suse 9.3. Nur mit cedega ohne Point2Play laufen diese Spiele jedoch (z.B.Sronghold1). Wenn man in der Kommandozeile Point2Play startet sieht man auch das ein Fehler ausgegeben wird:
File "/usr/lib/transgaming_point2play/Point2Play.py", line 835, in winex
game_conf = config.config_file( path + "config" )
File "/usr/lib/transgaming_point2play/config.py", line 21, in __init__
f = file( filename ) # Create file object from filename
IOError: [Errno 2] Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden: '/home/sebastian/.point2play/Strognhold/config'

Das steht bei jedem Spiel da. Egal welches man nimmt.

Ha.... ich habe exakt das selbe Problem. Bin schon eine Weile am googlen und habe leider noch keine Lösung gefunden. Habe mich schon für zu blöd gehalten. Hatte auch schon eine ältere Point2P-Version probiert. Brachte leider bei mir auch nichts....

Schade... würds gern nutzen.

Hier etwas aus dem TransgamingForum dazu.



It seems there is a bug with Point2Play and SuSE 9.3 we are looking into hte best way to fix this problem. For now the workaround is to do the following:
create a directory in /home/USERNAME/.point2play that you wish to appear in the left hand side of the Point2Play screen - this will be the Program Title:
mkdir ~/.point2play/GAME_TITLE
copy the contents of /home/USERNAME/.point2play/.winexver/VERSION/.transgaming/* to the new directory:
cp ~/.point2play/.winexver/winex-4.3.1/.transgaming/* ~/.point2play/GAME_TITLE
Launch Point2Play
Install the game but be sure to select the GAME_TITLE you created from the dropdown list for Program Title.
We are looking into a proper fix but this will get you going for now.

Allerdings habe ich leider nur ein leeres .poit2play Verz. abgesehen vom Verz. fürs Spiel, welches ich angelegt habe.....
