Fetchmail schickt mir dauernd emails!

guten morgen
wie kann ich die emails die mir fetchmail ca alle 30 minuten schickt abstellen?
zur erklärung:
ich habe 5 emailkonten in der fetchmailrc eingetragen u.a. gmx und yahoo
problem ist nur das fetchmail scheinbar nicht immer auf gmx kommt und mir dann eine nette email mit

sowas ist natürlich nicht schön wenn meine inbox mit sowas vollgespamt wird, bei yahoo kommts selten vor bei gmx jedoch täglich und das alle 30 minuten, es gibt dann natürlich auch eine email mit fetchmail authentification OK! die darauf hinweist das er wieder drauf connecten konnte...

meine fetchmailrc sieht so aus:

poll pop.gmx.net with proto POP3 user "kundennummer" there
with password "password" is ben here options ssl warnings 3600

hab extra mal mit ssl bzw ohne versucht jedoch bringts mir nichts...



kann mir bitte jemand helfen?? :)

Also mein fetchmail sendet keinerlei Status an mich / Postmaster.

Deine Warning Option produziert z.B. solche Notifications. Die würde ich mal rausmachen, auch wenn das Muster anders aussieht.

Nein, leider nicht. Also wenn fetchmail quasi jeden Vorgang per Mail dokumentiert, dann wird es nicht an GMX liegen.

Das hat wohl irgendwie was mit dem Logging zu tun, was normalerweise in der Logdatei stattfindet, aber bei Dir vielleicht an den Postmaster geht.

Vielleicht definierst Du mal eine Postmasteradresse (unwichtiger Mailaccount).
Oder schaust, ob das Logging in ne Datei nicht klappt.

Hier würde ich mal "spielen":


Global Options:
set postmaster Give the name of the last-resort mail recipient
set no bouncemail Direct error mail to postmaster rather than sender
set no spambounce Send spam bounces
set logfile Name of a file to dump error and status messages to
set idfile Name of the file to store UID lists in
set syslog Do error logging through syslog(3).
set no syslog Turn off error logging through syslog(3).

komisch aber das fetchmail nur bei gmx diese fehlermails verschickt und bei den anderen email konten nicht.
hab jetzt mal testweise eingetragen

set logfile /etc/fetchmail.log
set no syslog


ma schaun wies nacher aussieht

versuch mal ohne "options ssl warnings 3600"

gibts den user "ben" ?

Also ich benutze auch fetchmail und GMX und das völlig problemlos:

set syslog
set nobouncemail
poll gmx.de via pop.gmx.net proto pop3
user "<USER>@gmx.<TLD>" with pass "<PASS>" is <LOCAL USER> here
Und alles funktioniert perfekt. Mit SSL habe ich es noch nicht getestet, das sollte aber eigentlich auch funktionieren.

den user gibt es, in der fetchmailrc sind 5email konten alle sind gleich angelegt vom aufbau her

habe jetzt mal:
set syslog
set nobouncemail

das noch eingetragen mal schauen ob wieder ne email kommt :)

sorry, dass ich mich solange nicht mehr gemeldet habe (prüfungsstress)
also problem besteht weiterhin, habe jetzt mal den postmaster von ben auf einen anderen user geändert, bin ja mal gespannt ob wieder emails kommen...

habe den ct debian server falls euch das irgendwie weiterhilft...

es nervt langsam echt... hat denn niemand ne idee?

Läßt du fetchmail als daemon laufen oder regelmaessiger Aufruf über crontab? Wenn letzteres, dann mal dort MAILTO="" setzen... ansonsten leider keine Ahnung.
