Drucken Canon BJC 6000

Hallo
Ich habe einen Canon BJC 6000 am Parallel-Port(lp0?) und würde den gernen auch mal unter GNU/Linux nutzen. Allerdings krieg ichs einfach net hin.

Da steht gimp-print soll ich benutzen.

Daraus werd ich net arg schlau..
von linuxprinting.org bekomm ich Kopfweh.

Hab es auch mal mit Turboprint probiert, aber es passiert nix, wenn ich nach der Konfiguration ne Testseite ausdrucken will (in den Logfiles steht nix auffälliges).

In Cups hab ich den Drucker jetzt auch drin (CANON BJC 6000 - CUPS+Gimp-Print v4.2.7), aber auch da tut sich net viel wenn ich ne Testseite drucken will. gimp-print ist auch installiert und so.

Also mich würde zunext interessierern welche Distribution du hast.
Dann würde interessieren wie du den Drucker einrichtest.
Es sind leider nicht sehr viele Informnationen in der Frage enthalten.

Distri steht in der Signatur (slack 10.1). Wie ich es einrichte hab ich keine Ahnung. Bei Turboprint hab ichs einfach durch xtpsetup eingerichtet und bei cups über das Webinterface.

Hab mal meinen Drucker per lpadmin -p bjc-6000 -E -v parallel:/dev/lp0 -m C/bjc-6000.ppd.gz installiert, es kam auch keine Fehlermeldung und er tauchte danach im Webinterface von Cups auf, aber wenn ich ne Testseite drucken will
passiert garnichts

ESP Ghostscript habe ich eben erfolgreich kompiliert!
