Hi,


habe hier SuSE 9.2 Prof. 3 SCSI-Platten.

Nun habe ich eine davon unter XP mit FAT32 formatiert und einen Ordner FTP mit den Unterordnern DOWNLOAD und UPLOAD angelegt.

In YAST habe ich einen User XY mit der einzigen Gruppenzugehörigkeit FTP angelegt.

Meldet sich nun dieser User per FTP an, soll er aus dem Ordner DOWNLOAD halt runterladen und wenn er mir etwas zukommen lassen will, dies im Ordner UPLOAD hinterlegen können.

Die entsprechende Platte wird in de rfstab mit:


/dev/sdc1 /windows/E vfat users,gid=users,umask=0002,iocharset=utf8 0 0

eingebunden.

Nun kann ich aber nicht ins Verzeichniss UPLOAD schreiben. Ein ändern unter ROOT-Account auf die Gruppe FTP für diesen Ordner geht nicht.

Wie kann ich es nun erreichen, das ich mit dem User XY im Verzeichniss DOWNLOAD nur downloads und im Ordner UPLOAD nur uploads möglich sind?

indem man linux partitionen benutzt und die mit richtigem chmod versieht.

Jau, als ob ich chmod noch nicht versucht hätte.....und "leider" brauch ich das unter FAT32, weil ich auch XP habe mit 1.2 TB SATA-RAID, auf die ein LinuX ja noch nicht zugreifen kann....die TECHNOLOGIE ist ja noch ZU NEU..... :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Also, weiterhin besteht INTERESSE an konstruktiven LÖSUNGSMÖGLICHKEITEN...
