so viel vorweg: ich bin ein ziemlich blutiger linux-anfänger.
ich habe kürzlich suse 9.2 professional auf meinem rechner installiert . leider läuft der sound noch überhaupt nicht. mein motherboard ist ein asrock k7s41 und die karte ist onboard. soweit ich das rausfinden konnte ist sie eine cmedia cmi9761.
in yast2 wird nur eine karte mit namen "sound controller" erkannt, die sich aber nicht konfigurieren lassen will.
nach lsmod erhalte ich folgende infos:
