Saitek USB 2.0 Docking Station - USB->Serial problem

Hallo

Ich hab ne Saitek Docking Station, die u.a. nen Seriellen Port hat, den ich gerne ansprechen möchte. Erkennen tut er so ziemlich alles, nur aus minicom an /dev/usb/tts/0 ist absolut nichts rauszubekommen. Hab nen gentoo-linux mit 2.6.11.5 kernel

Hat jemand ne Idee, was da noch schief läuft ??

Baut ja richtig auf, was ich hier mit der SuFu gefunden hab.
Hab ein ähnliches Prob, bezieht sich aber (mal wieder) eher auf kmobiletools und meiner Datenverbindung PC<->Handy...

Welches shitty /dev/XYZ muss ich denn bei kmobiletools angeben damit das Handy erkannt und angesprochen wird???

Aber ist wohl eher wahrscheinlich das nächstes Jahr jemand kommt, der ein ähnliches Prob hat und der dann den Thread hier einfach mal erweitert... *g*

1. Findest Du beim einstecken des USB->Serial im Kernellog den Hinweis wohin es eingehängt wird (tail -f /var/log/kernel/current)

2. find /dev | grep USB hilft auch weiter, wenn Du udev benutzt
