Umlaute in Xfce 4.2

kann keine Umlaute in Xfce schreiben obwohl meine xorg.cof wie folgt aussieht :

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Generic Keyboard"
Driver "keyboard"
Option "CoreKeyboard"
Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "de"
Option "XkbVariant" "de"
Option "XkbOptions" "nodeadkeys"
EndSection

kann mir jemand von euch weiterhelfen ????

Hi,
also mit XFCE kann man ja eigentlich nicht schreiben. Ich verwende dafür OpenOffice oder einen Editor :ugly:

Mal im ernst:

Meine xorg.conf sieht so aus:

Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Keyboard1"
Driver "keyboard"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "de"
Option "XkbOptions" ""
EndSection
Und ich kann ä, ö oder ü schreiben so oft ich will............................
