Hallo, ich habe das Problem, dass die Linux-Spiele bei mir in so einem ,,Pseudo-Vollbildmodus" laufen. Das Spiel läuft in einem kleinen Bereich des Bildschirms und rundherum ist ein riesiger schwarzer Rand. (siehe Anhang)

Hat jemand ne Idee, wie man die Spiele im ordentlichen Vollbildmodus laufen lassen kann?

P.S.:Ich glaube, dass dies erst seit dem Aktivieren der 3D-Beschleunigung so ist. Diese möchte ich allerdings ungerne abschalten... ^^

Ich hatte das Problem auch mal, aber mit ner Matrox G550. Woran es lag weiss ich nicht, da ich generell Probleme mit der G550 hatte und ich froh war wenn es so geklappt hat.
Gibt es sonst noch etwas auffälliges? Klappt z.B. die Komandozeile problemlos?

Ganz einfach:

Tuxracer läuft standartmässig mit einer Aulösung von 640x480.
Wenn Du deinen X-Server höher eingestellt hast, z.B. auf 800x600, erscheint dieser schwarze Rand.

Abhilfe:
Öffne die Datei ~/.tuxracer/options mit einem Editor Deines Vertrauens und editiere folgende 3 Zeilen:

set fullscreen true
set x_resolution 800
set y_resolution 600

Anschliessend sollte Tuxracer in einem vorbildlichen Vollbildmodus laufen.


Bei Frozen Bubble wird die Lösung ähnlich sein...........

file:/usr/share/doc/packages/tuxracer
file:/usr/share/tuxracer
...in keinem der beiden Ordner.

Bei Frozen-Bubble ist es das gleiche. Da find ich auch keine Options-Datei.

In deinem Homeverzeichnis!

file: ~/.tuxracer/options

Wenn du KDE benutzt, einfach Dein Homeverzeichnis öffnen und unter "Ansicht" den Punkt "verdeckte Dateien anzeigen" aktivieren.



Bei Frozen-Bubble ist es das gleiche. Da find ich auch keine Options-Datei.

Hui, klasse, vielen Danke. TuxRacer geht jetzt.
Zu Frozen-Bubble find ich in dem Ordner aber nix :confused:

Und eine Frage zu TuxRacer noch: Woran liegt es, dass die Sounds z.B beim Einsammeln von Heringen oder beim Bremsen immer mit ca. einer Sekunde Verzögerung gespielt werden?

Da du SuSE verwendest, musst du sax starten (wenn ich mich recht erinnere) und dort kannst du die Modi einstellen, die verwendbar sein sollen, oder nicht? (Wie gesagt, verwende SuSE schon ewig nicht mehr) (zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt zeigt einem Sax mehrere Modi in verschiedenen Farbtiefen, und dort dann mehrere auswählen)

Du meinst also, ich sollte die KDE-Auflösung auf 640*480 runterstellen, damit die Spiele dann im Vollbild laufen? Das ist doch auch keine richtige Lösung... Ich wollte das lieber programmintern, wie bei TuxRacer, ändern.

Puh, erschrick mich doch nicht so. Ich hab das überschrieben, und plötzlich hatte ich keinen Sound mehr. :eek: Nach nem Neustart gings dann aber wieder :D

Aber sonst hat sich nichts geändert. Frozen Bubble läuft immer noch im kleinen Fenster... :(

Nochmal zur Erinnerung: Bevor ich die 3D-Beschleunigung angestellt hab, ging Frozen Bubble im VOLLBILD, obwohl mein Desktop auf 1024*768 eingestellt war. :(

Keine Sorge! Zum einen kannst Du die Auflösung ganz einfach mit STRG + ALT + + (Plus auf der numerischen Tastatur) wieder hochstellen und zum anderen wird beim Neustart des X-Servers wieder der alte Wert genommen. Müsstest mir eventuell mal deine /etc/X11/XF86Config posten

hihi, lol, ich hab eben ein besonderes Linux. Die Tastenkombi geht nicht, und mein X-Server ist auf 1024*768. ^^
Ne, mal ernst. Keine Ahnung, warum die Tastenkombi nicht geht, aber mein LCD kann nicht höher als 1024*768.....

Ja :D

15-Bit und 32-Bit kann Deine Grafikkarte nicht.
8-Bit sind nur 256 Farben. Braucht also kein Mensch :ugly:

Und mehr als 1024x768 kann Dein Monitor nicht.

So langsam neigt sich mein Latein dem Ende :confused:

Welche Datei editierst Du?

/etc/X11/XF86Config ?

Und nochmal zur Tastenkombiation:

STRG + Alt gedrückt halten. und eine der folgenden Tasten drücken:

PLUS oder MINUS auf der numerischen Tastatur ===> nächste/vorherige Auflösung.
BACKSPACE ===> X-Server wird beendet
F1 - F6 ===> Linux schaltet auf eine Textkonsole Mit F7 gehts wieder zurück.

BACKSPACE möcht ich grad nicht ausprobieren, aber F1 bis F6 funktioniert.
Nur Plus und Minus nicht :(

Nochmal. Welche Datei editierst Du immer? Oder startest Du den X-Servern mit irgendwelchen Parametern?


Die Frage ist nicht böse gemeint aber es ist jetzt schon zweimal passiert dass der X-Server etwas macht (oder eben nicht nacht)was nicht in der Config-Datei eingestellt ist.


1. Wenn nix anderes befohlen startet der X-Server mit defaultparametern. Bei Dir steht dort:
DefaultDepth 24

Von dort nimmt er den ersten Wert:

2. Ich sagte die Tastenkombination STRG ALT PLUS geht immer. Dies stimmt nicht ganz. Wenn deine Config Datei nur einen Wert enthält etwa so:

Modes "1024x768"

Dann geht die Tastenkombination selbstverständlich nicht. Das war bei Dir aber nie der Fall. Deshalb gehe ich davon aus dass die Datei die Du editiert hast und die Datei die eingelesen wird nicht dieselbe ist.
