Hallo,
ich hab ein kleines problem mit meinem Apache: Der schickt php-Dateien immer (naja, manchmal gehts auch) zum Download an den Browser. Kann mir jemand sagen, wo ich da nach dem Bug suchen muss?

Was mit gerade aufgefallen ist: Beim Restart des Apachen krieg ich nen Warning wegen VirtualHost

Das hat mit dem PHP-Problem nichts zu tun.

Wenn du die Sicherheit deines Webservers erhöhen willst, solltest du die PHP-Option register_globals deaktivieren. Lies hier weshalb:

Zu deinem PHP-Problem: Bei SUSE konfiguriert man die Apache-Module per YAST, wenn ich mich nicht irre. Gehe also in YAST und schaue nach, ob das PHP-Modul für Apache aktiviert ist.
Ist kein SuSE, ist nen Debian. Und kann wohl auch gut ohne YAST ;) die PHP-Engine ist wohl auch gestartet und läuft.
apt-get install libapache2-mod-php4 php4
a2enmod php4
/etc/init.d/apache2 restart
Was soll das genau machen? Wie gesagt, PHP ist bereits installiert und läuft. Nur nicht immer mit CONFIXX, also ein Ordner wird nicht immer an die Engine geschickt.
Das Problem hat ein Bekannte auch von mir. Mal geht die seite Problemlos und mal will er immer downloaden.
Versuchs am besten mal mit einer neuen Php Version
Debian Sarge hat die neueste PHP4-Version.
Ist kein SuSE, ist nen Debian. Und kann wohl auch gut ohne YAST ;)
