Auflösung

Habe ien kleines Problem, habe versucht, mir denn ATI Treiber für meine Radeon 9700Pro(9500Pro) zu installieren.
Wie nicht anderes zu erwarten hat es auch beim 75ten mal nicht geklapp :mad:
nun wird mir als Desktopauflösung 600 x 480 aufgezwungen aber in sax2 wird mir die eingestellt 1280x1024 angezeigt.
wie kann ich das nun ändern?
was mach ich falsch?

Hi 1)falsches FOrum gehöt nach X-Konfiguration 2) zeig mal deine xorg.conf ;)

Ich sachätze mal die meinst du nicht, wo finde ich die xorg.conf, suche hat nichts ergeben :confused:

Die Modelines dürften stimmen und die Video Modes sehen auch gut aus o_O

kann man das nicht noch über die console beheben, irgendein Komando wird es doch bestimmt geben, so macht das arbeiten unter Linux keinen Spaß :(

aber was ich gerade sehen, mir fehlt ja schon wieder der Load "dri" Eintrag in den Modulen.
könnte es daran liegen?

Hast du schon mal probiert zwischen den Auflösungen umzuschalten? Das geht doch mit

Alt+Strg+"+" bzw. "-" ("+" & "-" vom Ziffernblock hernehmen...).

also Alt Strg + oder - funktioniert nicht, aber habe die xorg.conf, danke für den Wink mit dem Zaunsfeld :D

wie aktiviere ich 5.1 Sound in Linux :confused:
bekomm nur Stereo, habe nen n-force 2 Chipsatz auf nem Asus A7N8X rev 2.0
und der blöde Kaffeinplayer startet bei jedem Systemstart, wie bekomm ich das Teil aus dem Autostart?
