Hallo,

jetzt hab ich mir auch mal Generäle als Vollversion zugelegt, hab die CD eingelegt und wine setup.exe eingegeben, um zu sehen obs funktioniert. Allerdings kommt direkt beim initialisieren des Setups eine Dialogbox mit dem Inhalt:

155: Datei Z:\media\cdrom0\Command Conquer(TM) Generäle.msi wurde nicht gefunden

Im übrigen wird das "ä" in Generäle etwas merkwürdig dargestellt, das ist so ein Kästchen oder manchmal auch ein Fragezeichen. Kann es sein, dass es auch daran liegen könnte, dass das Setup die msi Datei nicht finden kann?

Normal so als frage wenn dein cd-rom laufwerk laut wine /media/cdrom is (du benutzt suse oder ? ) warum hast du dann in deiner wine_config

/mnt/cdrom stehn ich würd das spontan mal ändern und afk geht generält nur mit cedega ;)

Weil das eigentlich so passt. Wieso nimmt Wine an, mein CD Laufwerk wäre /media/cdrom0? Hmm. Mit Wine müsste das auch klappen. Ein paar andere Spiele, die ich bereits getestet habe, laufen einwandfrei.

Also mit WineX aus dem CVS funktionierts schon mal nicht, da funktioniert eh alles von vorne bis hinten nicht. Mit dem Loki-Installer hat die Installation geklappt, aber beim starten gibts denselben Fehler wie hier beschrieben:

Die Registry-Werte sind drin und ich bin mit meinem Latein am Ende... mit Root-Rechten gibts exakt denselben Fehler, mit normalen User-Rechten gibts nur ne einfache Dialogbox mit dem Titel "Fehler...".
