Hallo, ich nutze SUSE 9.2 auf einem HP-Notebook pavilion zv5000.
Ich versuche seit längerem vergebens eine PCMCIA WLAN-Karte in Betrieb zu nehmen. Es scheint so, als ob einfach kein Gerät am PCMCIA-Slot erkannt wird. Hab schon verschiedene Karten ausprobiert.
Stromversorgung scheint aber vorhanden zu sein.
Ich hab hier schonmal was gefunden, dass man den den PCMCIA-Bus umstellen soll mit:
setpci -s 0:a.0 SUBORDINATE_BUS=0x03
allerdings klappt danach der neutart mit
rcpcmcia -restart
nicht.
Das Notebook hat einen fest eingebauten Kartenleser, der vermutlich auch am PCMCIA-Slot hängt. Klappt aber auch nicht. Kann das damit etwas zu tun haben???
