hallo!
ich habe ein amilo a 1640 und debian zum laufen bekommen. alles ist prima, nur meine wlan-pcmcia-karte macht probleme, besser gesagt der cardbus in der sie steckt. die karte wurde in einem anderen laptop via lspci sofort erkannt, bei mir passiert gar nichts, also nehme ich an, es liegt am cardbus. sehr seltsam ist, dass er "eigentlich" einwandfrei läuft, also lspci zeigt folgendes an:
0000:00:09.0 CardBus bridge: O2 Micro, Inc. OZ711M1 SmartCardBus MultiMediaBay Controller (rev 20)
0000:00:09.1 CardBus bridge: O2 Micro, Inc. OZ711M1 SmartCardBus MultiMediaBay Controller (rev 20)
das hat genau den gleichen namen wie der treiber, der vom hersteller für windows angeboten wird.
dmesg zeigt nix an, wenn ich die karte reinstecke, die pcmcia-tools sind installiert.
hat jemand erfahrung mit dem cardbus? weil das einzige was ich bisher dazu las ist:
I've only one big problem: I can't get the PCMCIA slot to work. The modules seem to load fine, but it has no interrupts in /proc/interrupts, and it won' t power up the inserted card (which BTW works under the WindowsXP). Have you tried the PCMCIA slot yet? Have you succeeded?
und das mit exakt meinem laptop und SuSE!!!
