Hi, wenn ich bei SUSE 9.2 prof meinen NVIDIA-Kernel und die NVIDIA Grafiktreibert installiere bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung Kein Monitor mit ensprechender Konfiguration gerfunden..... "No Screens found" obwohl ich meinen (sehr alten) Monitor im sax konfiguriert hatte... hat da jemand schon gleiche erfahrungen gemacht????

habe eine GE-Force4 MX 440 und nen alten Packard Bell Monitor, Typ unbekannt

funktioniert dein X-server wenn du auf VESA umstellst?

ja, mit den vesa treibern läuft das ganze komischerweise... die xorg.conf schicke ich gleich auch nochmal rein.....

hast du es nach der readme gemacht? dr und glcorei auskommentiert und glx rein?

NVIDIA-Kernel? Meinst du vielleicht das NVIDIA-Kernelmodul?

Poste mal deine /etc/X11/xorg.conf und die Ausgabe von /var/log/Xorg.0.log.

Verzeiht mir Fehler, bin absoluter Neuling ;)

Hatte schon meine Probleme mein USB-Modem einzurichten.... obwohl es im endeffekt ganz einfach war! ;)

Aber sagt mir mal welche anzeige in etwa kommt wenn ich das NVIDIA-KERNEL-MODUL installiere, hab bei mir ne anzeige von 5 zeilen in den einfach nur zahle stehen..... vieleicht ist die Kernel installation ja schon fehlgeschlagen?
