Sounf FC3 geht nicht mehr

Hi,
mein Desktop hat eine onboard-Soundkarte von Intel die ich mit alsa nicht zum laufen bekommen habe. Habe mir dann eine C-Media PCI-Karte 8738 gekauft und mittels dieser Seite http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=C-Media&card=.&chip=CMI8338%2C+CMI8738&module=cmipci und einigem rumspielen zum laufen gebracht. Das ware vor etwa 2 Wochen ...

Nun habe ich heute festgestellt, das wieder keinerlei Sound funktioniert und bereits Stunden damit verbracht alles gem. o.g. Anleitung nochmals zu kompilieren und zig Einstellungen am alsamixer getestet - nichts geht.

alsaconf erkennt die Karte. Ein system-config-soundcard ergibt folgende Ausgabe und keinen Ton:

Hat jemand eine Idee was ich noch machen könnte ?
Was muss ich löschen um nochmals ganz von Anfang mit Sound einrichten anzufangen - wäre das überhaupt sinnvoll ?
