Ich weiß, dass das der 2. Thread ist der das Thema behandelt, aber mein Prob is etwas grundlegender... ;)
Ich hab mir gerade mal nur so zum Spaß nen LS-120 von meinem Freund besorgt, selbiges angeschlossen und gestartet...Eine Diskette da rein und dann wollte ich mounten, ohne Erfolg:
mount: /dev/hdd is not a valid block device
Bei booten meldet der Kernel:

Interessant ist, dass Der Kernel dem LS-120 DMA zuweist obwohl es laut BIOS nur PIO 2 hat...Hier dürfte wohl der Fehler liegen, weil wenn ich im BIOS von LS-120 booten einstelle geht selbiges auch...Einer eine Idee, wie ich das dauerhaft und ohne den anderen Geräten den DMA zu klauen unterbinden kann?...

ide=nodma beim booten bringt auch nichts...
