mplayer spielt keine mpgs, movs, wmvs und mp3s mehr

hi
ich bin gerade aus amerika zurueck und habe eine menge kleine videos und clips mitgebracht, diefreunde mit ihren cameras oder sonst wie gemacht haben.
die file formate sind, mpg, mov und wmv.
in amerika hatte ich einen fedora core 2 rechner. da lief alles wunderbar mit mplayer, hier kann ich alle 3 nicht abspielen. wie kann ich mplayer dazu bringen mir das abzuspielen?

Normaler weise sollte mplayer das abspielen - gibt es Fehlermeldungen in der Konsole ?
Was verwendest du hier für eine Distribution ? Welche Version von mplayer verwendest du ? "Essential codecs package" von hier http://www.mplayerhq.hu/ für wmv und manche Audio Codecs die in mov sein können installiert? Aber mpeg sollte eigentlich auf jedenfall klappen.

naja wmv und mov unterstützung ist aber echt nicht die beste!

Ich kenne mich nicht ganz so mit mplayer aus aber soweit ich weis tun sich mplayer und xine nicht viel beim abspielen von mov/mp4 Files und ich habe bei xine in letzter Zeit keine Probleme mit dem abspielen von mov Files gehabt. OK Flash(interaktive) Animationen werden ignoriert aber Video und Audio wird problemlos abgespielt. Sorensen3 wird native (ffmpeg) decodiert. Bei QDesign Music Codec v2 muß auf die win dlls zurückgegriffen werden. Also die Trailer von http://www.apple.com/trailers/ klappen eigentlich alle mit kaffeine(xine-lib) und Konqueror.

Hmm seltsam habe das gerade mal mit mplayer getestet läuft nicht ganz so flüssig wie mit xine/kaffeine aber es klappt.

Welche Version des mplayer hast du denn installiert? Vielleicht solltest du ihn einfach mal neu installieren aus den Sourcen oder ein neueres RPM.

ich poste hier mal alle ausgaben.
was passierte bei mpg und wmv ist das sie angefangen haben zu spielen, oder besser, sie haben mir ein bild gezeigt, was allerdings nicht weiterabgespielt wurde.
bei mov wurde es sogar abgespiel, allerdings hatte ich da kein sound.

mmh ein einzelner Codec würde mich jedoch auch nicht stören!

mir fehlt immer noch der QDM2 Audio Codec.

Und leider war er nicht in den bisherigen Paketen.

Gib mal die komplette Ausgabe an wenn du mit mplayer dein File abspielst (mplayer yourfile.mov). Am besten hängst du die Ausgabe als Textdatei an.
