Also, ich hab jetzt Wine/Cedega auf die unterschiedlichsten Arten ausprobiert...

aktuell aus dem CVS per Script von linux-gamers.net, endet aber ebenso wie die holarse.net Beschreibung irgendwie in einer Sackgasse:

wine: Unhandled exception, starting debugger...
err:seh:start_debugger Couldn't start debugger ("winedbg --debugmsg -all -- --auto 1 32") (2)
Read the Wine Developers Guide on how to set up winedbg or another debugger
err:ntdll:MODULE_THREAD_WaitThreadModuleSafe this should never happen. (unless wine crashed)

davon bekomm ich soviele Meldungen, bis ich das abbreche... :(

Ich versuche War3 zu installieren und nutze als System Fedora Core 3. Hier mal meine Config (habe sie aus diese Forum, vom Cedega Howto):

hi,

habe in der aktuellen c't etwas zu fedora und wine gelesen, kann mir vorstellen das das auch auf winex zutrifft.
dort heisst es das fedora ein exec-shield einsetzt um bei einem buffer overflow zu verhindern das fremder code ausgeführt werden kann. als lösung soll man wine wie folgt aufrufen:

setarch i386 wine ....

als dauerhafte lösung sollte man sich einen alias anlegen oder exec-shield deaktivieren.

vielleicht hilfts dir ja :)
