sis onboard snd funzt nicht

Moin!

Folgendes Problem hab ich: auf meinem system läuft Suse 9.2 und winXP. unter linux hatte alles soweit funktioniert auch der sound. unter windows aber nicht. daher hab ich dann unter windows aktuelle treibe für die soundkarte installiert wurde dann auch erkannt als AC'97 Sound device und funktioniert auch richtig. allerdings als ich dann danach wieder linux gestartet habe ging der sound nicht mehr, obwohl ich nix geändert hab. vielleicht kann mir ja irgendwer von euch helfen. hab mich hier im forum schon mit der suchfunktion rumgeschlagen, bei google geschaut aber ich komm überhaupt nicht weiter.

Hi,

blöde Frage: hast du mal die Lautstärkeeinstellung geprüft? Ansonsten mal als root alsaconf noch mal anwerfen.

wenn ich alsaconf laufen lasse erkennt er zwar am anfang meine karte richtig als sis und sagt mir dann auch der soundtreiber wurde gestartet allerdings tritt danach wohl irgendein fehler auf, weil ich nämlich keinen sound höre, obwohl mir alsaconf sagt alles wäre bestens

Kommt eine Fehlermeldung oder hörst du einfach nur nix? Standardmäßig ist IMHO alles "gemuted".

wenn man das programm laufen lässt hat das ja diesen blauen hintergrund - nur ab und an sieht man auf der konsole dann irgendwas ablaufen - und hierbei steht auf der konsole einmal failed.

allerdings hab ich auch noch das problem, dass es bei mir kein /dev/dsp gibt. deswegen meckern zum beispiel mpg123 und mplayer rum. der mplayer sagt mir auch bei jedem start, dass er keine soundkarten gefunden hat. also kann die ja gar nicht richtig eingestellt worden sein von alsaconf... :confused: :(

gibts gar keine /dev/dsp* oder nur das /dev/dsp (ist i.d.R. ein link auf /dev/dsp0) nicht?

Hatte dasselbe Problem.
Lösung war: Als root alsaconf laufen lasssen, anschließend mit gamix die Lautstärke eingestellt.
Ich hoffe, das hilft auch Dir.

also gamix gibts bei mir nicht das programm und der amixer hat folgendes problem:
