Hallo,
Ich hab nen Flachbildschirm (Benq767) und ne ATI Radeon9250. Ich nutze Xorg 1280x1024. Wie bekomme ich die Konsole auf 1280x1024? Welche einstellungen muss ich unter lilo sowie im Kernel (2.6.10) machen damit das funzt? Wäre toll wenn mir das jemand verraten könnte bin langsam mit meinem Latein am Ende!

Ich benutze zwar Grub, aber es sollte mit


vga=794

in der lilo.conf und anschließend /sbin/lilo gehen.

geht leider nicht, ebal was ich für nen vga-modus auswähle - raus kommt immer 640x480 wenn ich das richtig sehe.

es ist böse vesa und radeonfb nutzen zu wollen :)
am besten einen fest in kernel kompilieren
probleme hatte ich damit früher auch mal, vielleicht hat sich ja inzwischen was getan und es gibt ne andere lösung dafür...

Ok,
erst mal danke für eure Hilfe.
Leider geht es noch immer nicht!
Ich habs mit dem normalen vga-treiber probiert (davor radeonfb rausgenommen) geht nicht.
Jetzt hier das Ganze mit Radeonfb (vga ist drausen).

hast du vielleicht vergessen nach dem editieren der lilo.conf /sbin/lilo auszuführen damit er die änderungen auch beim nächsten reboot ausführt??

Nee das wars auch nicht.
Ich habs aber mittlerweile hinbekommen, hab den neusten patch der debian-kernelsourcen draufgemacht, et voila! :)

hab mittlerweile auch noch ein bisschen getestet und bin jetzt auf den trichter mit
video=vesafb:off bzw video=radeonfb:off gekommen ;)
so kann ich einschalten was ich nutzen möchten
