Debian Netinst [zip dat. für ISO passw. gesch.]

Hallo,

Ich bin neu in sachen Linux. (abgesehen von ungefähr einem Monat Suse) Ich möchte nun gerne Debian über Netinst Installieren. Ich habe ihr im Forum und auf der Debian Seite gesucht, und gefunden. Allerdings wenn ich hier:

http://people.debian.org/~blade/XFS-Install/download/

die Datei bootbf2_4-xfs_iso.zip für eine Bootbare CD herrunterlade, sie mit WinRar öffne, werde ich nach einem passwort gefragt. Ich weiß jetzt nicht ob ich das knacken darf, bzw wo ich das Passwort finde.

Kennt jemand das Passwort und darf es mir sagen, oder liege ich jetzt völlig falsch?

Hallo

Wieso nimmst du nicht einfach das "normale" Netinstall-image für sarge?
http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/daily/i386/current/
Und ganz wichtig: Das iso-image nicht entpacken, unter windows, ohne was zu ändern, einfach als image auf cd-brennen.

Ich würde sarge-i386-netinst.iso nehmen. Sollte dann alles wie gewünscht (hoffentlich) passen.

Und hier ist noch der Unterschied erklärt:


There are two different netinst CD images which can be used to install sarge with the debian-installer. These images are intended to boot from CD and install additional packages over a network, hence the name 'netinst'. The difference between the two images is that on the full netinst image the base packages are included, whereas you have to download these from the web if you are using the business card image. If you'd rather, you can get a full size CD image which will not need the network to install. You only need the first CD of the set.

Für alle die es Interresiert.. Ich glaube ich habs geschafft. Allerdings bekomme ich beim Start des Systems nur eine Promt zu sehen. Wie kann ich das Grafische Grundsystem starten?

Das ist normal ;) Bei einer minimalinstallation von Debian wird kein x-server installiert (ist auch gut so :D). Einfach nachinstallieren. Hier im Forum gibt es meiner Meinung nach ein sehr gutes Howto: "Debian Sid für Dummies" (wobei man einfach die Schritte weglässt, wo es um das Upgrade von Woody nach Sid geht):
