Hallo,
wenn meine Kollegen Dateien üer FTP auf die Maschinen uploaden bekommen die Dateien nur RW-Rechte für den User. Wie kann ich das ändern ??
jedes mal die gleichen fragen...
welcher ftpd?
welche distribution?
usw...
denkt doch mal mit, wie soll man euch helfen, wenn ihr sowas unvollständiges
postet?

Es ist Suse 9.0 Professional und WS-FTP
konfigurationsdatei vsftpd.conf
Wie melden sich die User an? Wie sieht deine vsftpd.conf-Konfigurationsdatei aus?
die user melden sich mit ftp:// ip-adresse an. Dann geht das programm WS-FTP auf und sie müssen da benutzername und kennwort eingeben. in meiner conf habe ich write_enable yes
Kannst du bitte deine Konfigurationsdatei hier pasten?

bei allen das # entfernen oder nur bei der mask
bei allen Zeilen, in denen local_umask=022 steht...

hi, ich nutze zZ vsftpd, leider bekomme ich es nicht hin, dass ich mich als root einloggen kann, anonymous und andere user funtzen.

Das ist auch gut so! Man kann es zwar ermöglichen, dass sich der Benutzer root einloggen darf, aber das ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen.
Ja, hängt eure dümlich konfigurierten FTP-Server am besten ans Internet auf das sie von jedem mißbraucht werden können :rolleyes: ;)
Im Ernst: Lest doch bittte die Doku zum jeweiligen Serverdienst bevor ihr anfangt herumzuspielen!

Steht vorne eine Null z.B. 022 wird das Duale Zahlensystem genommen, wobei hier der Owner (0) jeweils rwx-Rechte besitzt. (Immer wenn vorne die Null ist) Bei der Gruppe und allen anderen wird die Rechte-Vergabe invertiert. Beispiel: 022 = rwx|r-x|r-x
Überall dort, wo kein Recht gesetzt ist wird gezählt.
Die zwei steht für kein Recht vergeben und wird als zwei gezählt.
Beispiel 2: 044 rwx|-wx|-wx
Wird die 0 (am Anfang) geändert z.B. 146 wird das Duale-Zahlensystem ebenfalls benutzt. Nur wird hier von hinten nach vorne durchgezählt.
Und nur die nicht gesetzten Rechte werden addiert.
Beispiel.: r-x|r-x|r-x von hinten gezählt. 2+16+128=146
Beispiel.: -wx|rwx|r-x von hinten gezählt. 2+256=258
