Hi, ich habe ein Problem mit der Direct3D installation.
Ich glaube ich habe zu viel mal den nvidia treiber installiert und das YOU zeugs.
Benutze SUSE 9.2
Am anfang ging es noch, da wurde der Nvidia treiber installiert. Jedoch konnte ich glxgears ned starten, kam immer ne fehlermeldung.
Jetzt habe ich wieder den standart treiber drauf, also ohne 3d.
Wie kann ich nun alles wieder löschen, so das ich dan einfach den treiber neu installieren kann?
Und wie genua mache ich das dann? Einfach alt+ctr+f1 und dann als root einloggen und sh.......run machen.
Nachdem sax2 starten oder einfach init 5? muss ich dann auch noch diesen YOU Patch installieren?

So, hab jetzt den Nvidia Treiber wieder installieren können. Aber das Problem das er ihn nicht korrekt lädt is immer noch.
Bei glxinfo bekomme ich das: Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified
Bei glxgears:

Edit: Ich benutze auch ne MX510. Muss ich um alle 7 tasten zu benutzen auch in der XF86config was ändern?
Ok, wenn ich mich als root einlogge dann kann ich alles machen. Glxinfo, glxgears, sogar point2play geht.
Aber wieso nicht wenn ich nicht root bin?
Muss ich da irgendwelche rechte vergeben damit ich als user rankomme?

Prinzipiell läßt der X Server zunächst nur Verbindungen durch denjenigen zu, der den Server gestartet hat; dieses Verhalten läßt sich via xhost anpassen, eine solche Anpassung sollte normalerweise aber nicht notwendig sein.

Benutze KDE, also kdm. xhost.. kannste mir nähere infos dazu geben?

Edit: kann es was mit "-nolisten tcp" zu tun haben? der wird ja beim kdm mitgeladen glaube ich. Wie kann ich den denn abstellen?
Edit2: Habe nun als root im xterm "xhost -localhost" gemacht. dann kam ne meldung das dem localhost die rechte entfernt wurden. hab ich nun was verbockt?

Hab ich nicht wirklich. Hab unter sax2 den normalen treiber eingestellt und das wars.
Deinstalliert habe ich in dem sinne nix.
Edit: Wenn ich in der console "xhost + local:user" (oder xhost +) mache, dann kann ich wenn ich micht mit su einlogge glxgears und info starten.
aber als normal user immer noch ned. Und nach dem neustart ist nix mehr.
