Hallo,
Ich habe soeben ein Debian dist-upgrade von woody auf testing gemacht und folgendes Problem hat sich manifestiert:
Der MySQL-Server will einfach nicht starten.
Folgende Meldung wird ausgegeben:
Starting MySQL database server: mysqld...failed.
Please take a look at the syslog.
Ein Blick ins syslog ergibt:
Nov 4 15:28:51 hronell mysqld_safe[11929]: started
Nov 4 15:28:51 hronell mysqld[11932]: nice: cannot set priority: Permission denied
Nov 4 15:28:51 hronell mysqld_safe[11934]: ended
Nov 4 15:28:57 hronell /etc/init.d/mysql[11981]: 0 processes alive and '/usr/bin/mysqladmin --defaults-extra-file=/etc/mysql/debian.cnf ping' resulted in
Nov 4 15:28:57 hronell /etc/init.d/mysql[11981]: ^G/usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
Nov 4 15:28:57 hronell /etc/init.d/mysql[11981]: error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)'
Nov 4 15:28:57 hronell /etc/init.d/mysql[11981]: Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' exists!
Nov 4 15:28:57 hronell /etc/init.d/mysql[11981]:
Wo könnte der Fehler liegen?
Danke, Searinox
