Aurox 10

Aurox 10 sollte angeblich Anfang Oktober in Deutschland in den Handel gehen:

Aurox ist eine polnische Distri (aber auch in deutscher Uebersetzung), in etwa Fedora mit Multimedia gleich aus der Packung (out of the box). Ueber die Qualitaet kann ich nichts sagen, habe es noch nicht ausprobiert.

New and exciting features are:

* kernel 2.6.7
* SWSUSP 2.0.0.90 (it allows You to suspend Your system to swap partition)
* udev-030 (dynamically creates /dev entries)
* ipw2100 (device driver for Intel Pro Wireless card)
* ndiswrapper (tool that allows You to install WinXP drivers for wireless network cards)
* synaptics touchpad drivers (You can now use all the features of this devices: tapping, scrolling etc.)


Many other packages have been updated, the most important are:

* openoffice.org 1.1.2
* kde 3.2.3
* xine
* mplayer

Aurox 10 ist schon seit ca. 2 Wochen erhältlich ;)
Allerdings ist die "Kauf-Version" ziehmlich Buggy :(
Besser ist es: 10.0 kaufen, und die neuen ISO`s (10.0.1a) runterladen ;)

Aurox 10 ist schon seit ca. 2 Wochen erhältlich ;)

Hab ich leider keinen Ueberblick drueber (siehe "Ort", mein Profil). Habe es nur via distrowatch gesehen, und dachte, da es noch nicht erwaehnt war... ;)
