Hallo,
habe mir vorhin mittels iccullus installer und meiner q2-cd quake2 unter linux installiert. es läuft auch wunderbar, nur habe ich keinen mouse-look, d.h. ich kann mit der maus zwar schiessen aber nicht rumgucken. unter q1 hat es geholfen das prog mit -nodga zu starten, aber das klappt hier nicht.

ich habe eine logitech dual optical und in anderen games klappt alles super.

vllt kann mir jemand helfen.

habe ich, klappt trotzdem nicht, nur feuern geht.

:D, also :D, ich hab beim best game ever das gleiche Problem unter dem normalen OpenGL, aber wenn ich SDL OpenGL nehme is alles wieder normal, ich poste auch ma meine config wennde willst...
aber bei mir klappts eben mit SDL OpenGL

buha, nach der slackware installation hatte ich das gleiche Problem und hab jetzt (etwas sehr spaet)
eine Loesung gefunden, hat nix mitm spiel zu tun:
Du must die xorg oder XF86config editieren und folgende Zeile auskommentieren:
Option "omit XFree86-dga" (oder so aehnlich, ich kann mich nicht genau dran erinnern, duerfte aber richtig sein) :D
