xcompmgr Installationsschwierigleiten

Hallo,

ich wollte xcompmgr installieren. Hab bir das tar.gz besorft.
./configure und dann:

checking for pkg-config... no
*** The pkg-config script could not be found. Make sure it is
*** in your path, or set the PKG_CONFIG environment variable
*** to the full path to pkg-config.
*** Or see http://www.freedesktop.org/software/pkgconfig to get pkg-config.
configure: error: Library requirements (xcomposite xfixes xdamage xrender) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

Die Datei pkg-config liegt unter /usr/local/bin/. Die EnvVariable PKG_CONFIG_PATH hab ich darauf angepasst. Trotzdem noch dieser Fehler.

PS: Ist auf ner SuSE-9.1-Kiste

Kann mir da bitte jemand nen Tip geben??

Hast du die Libs xcomposite, xfixes, xdamage und xrender installiert?

den verdacht hatte ich auch.
habs aber unter unter /usr/X11R6/lib !

ÄNDERUNG:

Es funktioniert jetzt doch. Der Fehler lag in der $PATH. hier musste noch der Pfad zur Datei pkg -config eingetargen werden.
