Hi zusammen!

Jetzt wo ich mein Grafikkarten Problem behoben habe, stellt sich schon wieder ein Problem:

Ich habe Battlefield Vietnam Istalliert, wie es bei

http://www.holarse.de/?content=/emulationen/winex/spiele/bfvietnam

beschrieben ist!!!

Wenn ich jetzt das Spiel mittels "Befehl ausführe bekomme ich einen schwartzen Bildschirm und dann geht der einfach wieder auf die Arbeitsfläche zurück, allerdings im 800x600 Modus(oder so ;) )

Kann mir einer sagen, wodran das liegt?

Hi

Nein ich kann dir nicht sagen woran dass das liegt, aber: Was passiert wenn du das Spiel aus einer geöffneten Terminalemulation startest? Dann sollten dann wenigstens Fehlermeldungen in der geöffneten konsole erscheinen ...

hab genau das gleiche problem...aber bei ziehmlich allen spielen...auch counterstrike condition zero etc.
hab aber leider auch noch keine lösung gefunden =(

sry, dachte nur das es die betroffenen vielleicht aufmuntert, wenn sie nicht allein sind...nee, sry, kommt nicht wieder vor, denke ichj mal ^^

ehm...was für distributionen und cedega versionen haben eigneltich die betroffenen? würd mich mal so interessieren...besonders das mit der cedega version...danke

Pthread Stack Size

If available, Cedega attempts to make use of pthreads (POSIX threads),
instead of LinuxThreads. Some distros which use pthreads only support
a maximum stack size of 2MB. This can cause problems with some games
which require larger stack sizes. Common symptoms of such problems
include (but are not limited to) a crash to desktop when starting a game
or when loading or saving a level. If this happens, you can work around it
by starting Cedega with pthreads disabled.

To disable pthreads when running from the commandline run with the
'-use-pthreads no' option. If using Point2Play, you can disable pthreads on
the per-game configuration as necessary, or for all games by adding the
following line to the [transgaming] section of the .point2playrc file.

hm...jetzt gehts nen bissle auf newbie-niveau runter, sry..

ehm...wie genau muss ich das neukompilieren? vorher noch 'dekompilieren'?
und es wär glaub ich ganz geil den parameter zu wissen...naja ich google mal ein bissle...
