mein alsa hat eine äusserst gespaltene persönlichkeit spielt nur als oss-emulator sound ab. amixer bringt
amixer: Mixer attach default error: No such file or directory
und alsamixer:
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such file or directory
und xmms kann auch nicht über alsa abspielen. mein system ist ein debian sid (installiertes knoppix 3.6), soundkarte: via8235, kernel 2.4.27 und die soundtreiber habe ich streng nach dierser anleitung (http://alsa-project.org/alsa-doc/doc-php/template.php?company=VIA&card=&chip=via8235&module=via82xx) installiert.
