cedega und Half-Life

hab mir soeben cedega geholt und winex3 sofort runtergeschmissen, die games draufgelassen.
mit cedega game.exe sollte dann ja eigentlich gehen; bei mohaa und wc3 ging das auch

bei halflife bzw cs klappte dies nicht. kam nur nen schwarzer screen mitm mauszeiger und man konnte nix machen. habe dann halflife komplett runtergeschmissen und mit ner original cd neu aufgespielt, mit cedega dann. install ging, ich starte game mit cedega hl.exe, der fragt nach key, ich geb ihn ein, drueck okay, und dann dasselbe wie vorher!

wie krieg ich nun half-life zum laufen? im netz findet man ganix dazu weil davon ausgegangen wird das halflife immer problemlos laeuft, aber bevor ich steam cs 1.5 und 1.6 etc draufmachen kann muss ja halflife erstma laufen

/e max payne geht auch nicht, obwohl es laut transgaming, wie halflife, perfekt gehen sollte. beim start von maxpayne ist die ganze kiste abgeschmiert.... ging auch damals mit winex3

Also erstmal kleine Frage: CVS oder Binaries?

Bist du bei HL/CS bis ins Menü gekommen oder ist der Bildschirm sofort schwarz geworden?
Bei mir hat es eigentlich immer geholfen --winver win98 als Option mitzugeben.

Achja: du hast dann schon erstmal geupdatet? Weil half-Life - selbst von der "Game of the Year"-Edition CD installiert - war bei mir vor Jahren schon nicht ungepatcht lauffähig.


PS: Alle meine Erfahrungen beziehen sich auf die CVS-Versionen von Wine(X).

mh naja es muesste ja gehen, mit winex3 ging es ja dann auch, nur mit cedega nicht. wo krieg ich denn den halflife patch?

also irgendwie klappt garnix, habe winex3.3 gezogen, damit gehts auch net, es geht nur mit winex3.1 bei mir....

der 2. teil der fehler (fixme:font: bla) kommt bei winex 3.1 nicht!

kann da irgendwer helfen? kann doch net sein das die *******e hier nicht geht


/e hab nochma geguckt, max payne geht ebenfalls problem los mit winex3.1, und bei der installation ist auch kein grafikfehler: bei der install mit cedega konnte der den installer garnet richtig darstellen, installation ging zwar, aber der installer wurde fast garnicht dargestellt. bei winex3.1 war der installer ganz normal und das game laeuft auch

wie kann das sein das mit winex 3.1 alles geht mit cedega nix? kann das echt an fonts oder son mist liegen? ist bestimmt nur ne dumme kleinigkeit......

habe nun cedega und den transgaming-font-installer nach /usr/portage/distfiles/ gepackt, beide sachen emerged, cedega ausgefuehrt, danach den font installert, der die fonts eingerichtet hat, und dann halt nochmal probiert

geht immer noch net =(

hab das nun auf einem fc1 system und nem anderen gentoo system probiert

auf beiden lief maxpayne mit cedega, aber auf keinem lief halflife


irgendwie ist das doch alles merkwuerdig

Schon mal versucht FreeType in der Config zu deaktivieren? Hab gehört das soll teilweise was bringen.

V.a. scheinen die Fehlermeldungen ja auch damit zusammen zu hängen...

habe das selbe problem mit half-life, wie Freekazonid.
ich benutze ein frisches slackware 10 mit linux-2.4.26.
ich verwende jedoch die cvs version von cedega. mit winex lief zuvor alles prima. wuesste nicht, dass ich was an der config veraendert hätt'.

Freetype Fonts sind deaktiviert...

habe transgaming kontaktiert, das scheint nur mittels steam richtig zu funzen
da die loesung fuer mich net zufriedenstellend ist und cedega net alles kann was winex kann habe ich beide parallel installiert und alles laeuft bis jetzt
