Hiho Leute

irgendwie ich am verzweifeln :D
Ich bekomm Steam einfach net unter meinem Gentoo(Kernel 2.6.5) zum laufen...
ich hab schon jede erdenkliche Version von Wine ausprobiert...aber es will net..

jetzt hab ich es nach der hier schon des Öffteren erwähnten howto's probiert. Sprich Wine
Version 20031212 + IE6 + Fonts + extra Wine config mit Steam ZUsatz, wlche sich auch hier des öfteren finden lässt.

Aber damit klappt es auch net. Installieren und updaten lässt es sich ohne Probleme. Aber beim einloggen mit meinem Account, sagt er mir immer, er könne sich net connecten und ich solle dir Inet Verbindung prüfen..

Wine gibt bei jedem versuch mich einzuloggen folgendes aus:

fixme:crypt:CryptAcquireContextA Did not find registry entry of crypto provider
for "Software\\Microsoft\\Cryptography\\Defaults\\Provi der Types\\Type 001".

Das sagt mir leider ziemlich wenig :(

und was mir auch aufgefallen ist, ist diese Meldung:

fixme:commctrl:InitCommonControlsEx Unknown class! dwICC=0x8000

Welche doch auch was mit der Verbindung zu tun hat oder ?

Fals jemand einen Tip hat, bin i dankbar, will das endlich mal zum Laufen bekommen. :D bisschen was fraggen :D

Jetzt Hab ich mir Cedega gegönnt und das gleiche Problem. Steam meint immer, es währe keine inet verbindung vorhanden...ob das update von Steam ohne probleme geht...hmmmmm

Im Mom besteht eh ein Problem mit Steam. Die habe eine neue DLL ins Steam eingepackt, die Cedega usw noch nicht integriert hat! Also musst du warten bis wieder ein fähiges Cedega rauskommt!

kannst du mit den ie auch seiten anschauen? (in konsole iexplore)
ich glaube nämlich nicht! da muss irgendwas bei der installation des ie schief gegangen sein.
Meine Empfehlung:
wine aus den quellen compilen, danach frisches fake windows, frische config, ie installieren, dcom98 installieren(am besten wine tools verwenden), fonts besorgen, naggig freuen wenns klappt :)

Hi!

Du hast Recht, nix is mit surfen im IE. hmmm komisch

und welche version sollte ich am besten Compiliern von Wine?
habs nu mit der 20031212 probiert. Compiliert, installiert, dcom drauf (per winetools). So, aber der IE ließ sich nicht über winetools installieren. Es ging bis zu der stelle, an der das setup die download seiten sucht....danach war schluss.. hmm....irgendwas stimmt doch da net...:)

any ideas? :)

das selbe hab ich auch erlebt mit den setup, ich hatte dann wieder eine frische config angelegt (ohne die mir von winetools erstellen lassen, weil die hat irgendwelche DLL overrides mit der das setup nicht klar kommt) und dann wieder das iexplore install script verwendet http://bylands.dur.ac.uk/~mh/wine-ie/
damit gings dann, obwohl auch ein paar errors von irgendwelchen dateien angezeigt wurden...
naja wenn du dann den internet explorer startest und "wine makes the inpossible, possible" liest ist alles in Ordnung :D

hmmm

jetzt hab ich Wine-20031212 NIEGEL NAGEL NEU compiliert und installiert, dcom draufgebügelt und über das script den IE draufgehauen...aber nein!!!!! es geht nix....kein wine makes......
nur der ie, in dem man nix machen kann....
kamen bei dir auch beim installieren der IE's überdas script ein paar fehler ?
Welche Wine Version hast du ?
und könntest mal bitte deine wine config posten?

die 20031212 hatte ich genommen für die ie installation und als config hab die von cvswinex verwendet ;)

aba damit klappt auch net. :( kann doch wohl net sein...
warcraft 3 und Lineage connecten sich doch auch...grrrr :D

so langsam weis i nimmer, was i noch ausprobieren könnet..
