Hallo ersma !

Habe hier ein kleines Problem.

Seit dem Kernelupdate auf Kernel 2.6.7 von Fedora Core 2 mit installierten Sourcen funzt hier kein Sound mehr.

Benutze hier AC97 mit VIA8235 Soundchip.

In der Log-Message gibt es keine Fehlermeldungen und lsmod sagt aus das alle Module geladen sind.

Das Phänomen ist, wenn ich eine MP3 Datei abspielen will und z.B. Noatun dazu starte wird dieser gleich wieder getoppt bzw erhalte die Meldung "Noatun angehalten".
XMMS spiel auch nichts ab egal unter welcher Einstellung auch immer.

Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen mit benötigten Befehlen einen Fehler zu finden oder einzugrenzen!

Die richtigen Alsa-Treiber für den Kernel gewählt? Poste doch mal die Ausgabe von dmesg.

Hm..ich habe nichts finden können, dass eine Soundkarte erkannt wurde :confused:

Ist der Kernel wirklich richtig konfiguriert worden, vor dem Kompilieren?

Ahso: probier halt mal: echo /dev/urandom > /dev/dsp

Hört sich normalerweise nicht schön an, zeigt aber, ob die Karte funzt.

Hoffe doch.

Unter Hardwareerkennung zeigt er mir ja die Soundkarte und den Treiber an.

VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio Controller
Treiber snd-via82xx

und unter lsmod | grep snd zeigt sich auch alles korrekt.


mmmmmmhhhh.

Irgendeine Idee????

Welche Module müssten dann noch rein?

Hallo mumkmill und sorry.

Habe den Befehl probiert ohne erfolg. Egal wo ich nachsehe und was ich auch einstelle, es wird alles klaglos akzeptiert. Nur aRts hat einmal gemeckert aber das hat sich gegeben.

Mmmmhh, nun bin ich bisken Ratlos.

Hey, sorry, hatte das überlesen, dass alle Module klaglos geladen werden. Sind denn die Kanäle alle offen (unmuted)?

Arts mag manchmal auch nicht jede Audio-Hardware. Ich musste z.B. bei meinem nForce-Sound explizit im Kontrollzentrum auf Alsa stellen.

Trotz allem sollte, wenn der Alsa-Mixer ok zeigt, der cat /dev/urandom....-Befehl nen Rauschen bringen.

Da rauscht nix... Im Terminalfenster spinnt er rum und schreibt Hyroglypen ohne ende.
Habe ich auch noch nicht gesehen.

Na, nu is basteln angesagt, hi hi.

Also im Kontrollzentrum habe ich Alsa eingestellt und da muckt auch nix rum.

Werd mal sehen.

Melde mich nochmal, muss kurz schluß machen und danke nochmals.
