dann guck mal in die configure.log da steht drin in welchen pfäden er sucht. kannst ja mal gucken ob diese datei vorhanden ist nach der er sucht, wenn nicht suchst hal den pfad zur gtk config und gibts in bei ./configure an

Weiss nicht ob du es schon versucht hast, und ob es etwas bringt, aber falls du es ja noch nicht versucht hast, kannst du versuchen, den pfad zur gtk-config explizit anzugeben:

Wie ich sehe kompilierst du als Root, tritt der selbe Fehler auch als User auf?
Ich hab heute den MPlayer unter SuSE 9.1 als Root kompiliert, und da lag das "gtk-config" Script in /opt/gnome/bin, was nicht im $PATH von root war.
Nachdem ich $PATH dementsprechend erweitert hatte ging es.

Analog wie oben versuchen ...
Die Option --with-glib-config=PATH verwenden (wobei PATH /opt/bin/glib-config sein sollte). Steht alles so wenn man ./configure --help aufruft.

Bzw. sind die devel-Packete installiert die er verlangt, i.e. glib-devel?
