Wenn ich winex installieren will bekomme ich ne komische Fehlermeldung:

Da steht das ich bei Suse CVS installiert haben soll allerdings findet Suse bei mir kein CVS unter Software was kann ich da machen ?? Kann man es irgendwo runterladen? Hab Suse 9.1 Personal (die Version die man von der Suse Page saugen kann)

hi,
Software, die als Source vorliegt, wird normalerweise mit der Befehlsfolge
./configure
make
make install
installiert, wobei für make install root Rechte benötigt werden. Da Du die Suse 9.1 Personal hast, sind sicherlich auch keine Entwicklungspakete (z.B Compiler ) installiert und auch nicht auf der CD drauf. Als Linux Anfänger würde ich Dir empfehlen vorcompilierte Pakete zu verwenden.

Du sagtest das ich vorcompilierte Pakete zu verwenden sollte. Wo finde ich eine vocompilierte Version von CVS?? Also in Yast zeigt er mir nur
kdesdk3-kdecvs
wenn ich nach CVS suche. Ist es das Richtige?

hi,
kennst du http://www.rpmseek.com/index.html . Gib bei package seek cvs ein und klick auf go. Es wird eine Liste ausgegeben, wieder cvs anklicken. Jetzt bei Show Distribution Suse auswählen und das 1. Element in der Liste sollte das benötigte Paket sein. Danach das Paket abspeichern, in der Konsole dahin gehen, su eingeben, Root Passwort eingeben und rpm -i cvs-1.11.14-20.i586.rpm eingeben. Jetzt sollte cvs verfügbar sein. Allerdings wirst Du zum Installieren von WineX auch den Compiler brauchen.
:D hast Recht ich brauche noch nen Compiler :/
Kannst mir vielleicht sagen wo ich den Compiler den ich brauche saugen kann?

wie gesagt ich bin kein Suse Jünger. Nutze einfach die SuFU von dem Board, da wird bestimmt einiges zusammenkommen. Mein Tip : suse compiler yast eingeben

such mal nach xlib-dev im yast. issen schuss ins blaue, aber vielleicht klappts.
ich habe xlib-dev in Yast nicht finden können :/

Ich seh, da auch nur, daß winex da auf einen Fehler gestoßen ist, mit dem es nicht umgehen konnte und versucht hat, den debugger zu starten, was fehlgeschlagen ist (wenn ich nicht sogar das falsch sehe ;)).
Du hast Dir aber auch ein ausgesprochenes Problemkind zur Installation ausgesucht, denn nach meinem Kenntnisstand ist steam recht kompliziert zu bewerkstelligen.
Auf holarse.de gibt es wenn ich mich recht erinnere eine sehr ausführliche Installationsanleitung für cs, allerdings ohne steam (glaube ich), ansonsten gibt es hier im Unterforum "Emulatoren für Spiele" mehrere Steam-Threads.
Immer im Hinterkopf behalten mußt Du auch:
Du hast eine CVS-Version, also eine Version an der gerade gearbeitet wird. Da kann es auch durchaus mal vorkommen, daß die Version von heute läuft, die von morgen nicht, aber dafür dann wieder die von übermorgen.
Tut mir leid, daß ich Dir darüber hinaus nicht wirklich helfen kann.
