Nabend beisammen :)

nach einigen hin und her hatte ich nun endlich das setup vom ie 6 sp1 hinter mir und hab gedacht "nu isses so weit" leider bekomm ich nur dies:

Die Errors dürften wohl der Fehlerhafte Teil sein ^^.

Hat jemand einen Ansatz oder eine Idee woran es liegen könnte und wie ich das fixen kann ? (fahre Wine 20040505 auf Knoppix 3.4 installation)

Ah ja, es kommt auch das nette Windoof debugfenster "es ist ein FEhler aufgetrete blabla".

Ist das wahr? Du willst den Internetexplorer unter Wine emulieren? Würde mich schon interessieren warum. Es gibt doch so viele gute Browser unter Linux. Und der IE ist als Browser meiner Meinung nach nur Dreck.

ich kann verstehen, dass man den IE emuliert, um zu überprüfen, ob der IE die selbst erstellte Seite richtig darstellt (wann tut er das schon...)

Aber bitte was hat der IE mit XML-Entwicklung zu tun? Wenn du etwas mit einem Windows-Programm entwickeln will, dann benutz auch Windows .

Den Fehler sehe ich leider auch nicht, hast du dir mal die zahlreichen howtos zu wine + ie angesehen? AFAIK gibt es sogar spezielle Installtionspacks für diesen Zweck.

Ich hab viele Howtos & Co probiert, bin sogar frankscorner komplett durchgegangen ^^.

Der IE hat bei XML-Seiten die Eigenschaft nunmal sehr streng auf Fehler zu reagieren.
Ich hab gerade eben Mozilla, Konquerer & Opera ausprobiert, keiner hat auf einen Fehler im XML-Schema, der aus der DTD heraus rührt, angeschlagen, nur der IE machts :/.

Und warum kein Windows, ich probier nunmal so weit es geht von Windows Abstand zu nehmen ^^, aber ich entwickel nunmal recht viel im Web, da komm ich um den IE leider nicht rum.

Seit den letzten WINE-Versionen geht es irgendwie nicht mehr so gut. Gib die Versuche lieber auf, pure Zeitverschwendung. Brauchst du wirklich Windows bzw. den IE parallel und mit allen Features, dann hol dir Win4Lin (Links siehe Begrüßungstexte hier im Bereich).

Hi,

hab es mit der neuen wine version nach mehreren wochen aufgegeben. Ich habs nicht am laufen bekommen. Aber probier es mal einfach als win2k installation. Vllt klappt es da besser mit.

p.s.: habs unter der 20031212 version am laufen. das geht um einiges besser!! keine probs damit, lief sofort mit dem installationsscript...
