hallo leutz
hab hier schon die suche gequääääällllllllt und auch gegoooooogelt bis zum geht nicht mehr, aber irgendwie komm isch nit weiter!!!!

ist zustand: linux redhat shrik 9 mit einer mir noch unbekannten version von vsftpd!

so vsftpd funktioniert wunder bär, aber sobald ich den anonymous login abschalte gehts los !!!

so hab die vsftpd.conf so angelegt wie in den meisten tutorials.

allerdings scheint es ein problem mit den usern zu geben.

hab einen user angelegt, dem das /sbin/no... shell verpasst
und auch schon mehrmals für den passwörter vergeben!!!
unter hosts.allow die ip´s eingetragen, aber ich darf michb nicht mit ftp clienten einloggen
benutzername und oder passwort wären falsch!!!! :confused:
dabei sind es genau diese!!

vieleicht könnt mir jemand von den prof´s kurz unter die arme greifen!!!

wäre sehr sehr dankbar !!!!

bei bedarf post ich die conf.

Hmm ist das nicht /bin/false ?

Zu deinem Problem ich DENKE mal da ich deine Config NICHT kenne das du was vergessen hast:

und das sagt er mir bei vsftpd -v


[root@localhost etc]# vsftpd -v
500 OOPS: vsftpd: cannot open specified config file

Also die vsftpd.conf ist für mich weher wie eine fiebel mit 7 siegeln,
und die version bekomm ich leider nicht raus! :eek:
sollte ich es vieleicht irgendwie neu "installieren" ???
will ja nur einen ordner per ftp freigeben mehr nit!!!
statt var/ftp/
soll es /var/www sein
das das so verzwickt ist mit vsftpd hab ich nicht gedacht

wenn ich in der conf

eingebe zeigt er keinerlei wirkung

kann mir nicht einer helfen
diese schönen ftp configs gehen mir echt auf den geist ....
man ändert und ändert und nix tut sich !!! (zumindest vo anonymous login her)
aber das richtige conf file ist es ( laut xinetd)

OK hat sich erledigt habs hinbekommen
