Hi,

habe eigentlich alles installiert und konfiguriert doch meine Ati Karte funktioniert einfach nicht mit 3D,

fglrxinfo gibt mir folgendes aus:

kann da jemand den Fehler erkennen oder werden weitere Informationen benötigt (welche ?)

meine Vermutung liegt entweder bei Mesa oder beim Framebufferdevice
weis nur leider nicht welches Problem da vorliegen könnte geschweige denn wie ich diese beseitigen kann.

mir ist gerade noch folgendes aufgefallen:

wenn der xserver wieder beendet ist steht in der console das das dridevice nicht gefunden wurde (pci:1:0:1) (in der config ist pci:1:0:0) eingestellt was laut /proc/pci auch korrekt ist.

und im xfree log file steht folgendes:

gibt mehrere möglichkeiten...treiber mit force-overwrite installiert?
der DRI/DRM kram könnte probleme bereiten (nur ne vermutung, ich hab bis auf vesafb bei mir nix drin)
verwendest du den ati eigenen agptreiber oder den externen? häng am besten mal den ganzen xfree log an

mir ist noch aufgefallen
das wenn ich fgl_grxgears ausführen will kommt immer die Fehlermeldung das das er die fbconfig nicht gefunden hat,
ich nehme an es ist die Konfiguration für das Framebufferdevice

einer ne Idee ?

Hy ich weiß zwar nicht ob dir das hilft aber ich hatte dieses Problem mit meiner Radeon 8500 auch schon! Die abhilfe war bei mir das ich die komplette Xfree Config einfach gelöscht habe das System neu gebootet habe und dannach im Textmodus (vorher mit init 3 ) den ATi Treiber neu installiert habe!

Bis jetz habe ich keine Probs mehr (außer das Wine nicht geht und ich ein anderes TV Programm benötigte - aber das liegt am ATi Treiber)

Hi,

leider nicht,

ich starte immer im runlevel 3, und habe mit fglrxconfig die xfree config auch neu erstellt.

habe jetzt beim booten schon mal den vesafb treiben hinbekommen (der funktioniert sogar, beim radeonfb hatte ich nie eine Änderung der Auflösung gesehen)
aber denoch wird Mesa verwendet und beim beendet sehe ich die Meldungen das DRIScreeninit failed und das er kein Device an pci:1:0:1 gefunden hat

hm, verdammt das muss doch irgendwie gehen

Hi,

so ich habs hinbekommen, es lag daran das im Kernel die Radeon module für dri integriert waren,
habe diese rausgenommen und den Kernel neu kompiliert und siehe da,

3700 fps, das ist doch ein schöner Wert.
