möchte gern firefox(deutsch) installieren und das mittels apt-get nur was muss ich in der /etc/apt/sources.list eintragen

kommt darauf an, was bisher drinsteht.


ich muss z.B. nichts mehr ändern:



root@mailman[~]# apt-cache search firefox

garnicht, einfach "mozilla-firefox" installieren und dann später unter Setting das deutsche Languagepack nachinstallieren.

Firefox ist anders als dir Schärple verklickern will. Aber bei mir hats nicht gefunzt :(
Deshalb fange ich jetzt gar nicht erst an.

Galeon ist eh besser - leider nur ab und an mal einen Absturz (aber er merkt sich die Seiten die geöffnet waren)

Ich habs unter Debian SID einfach als Archiv runtergeladen und entpackt:

http://firefox.stw.uni-duisburg.de/downloads/0.8/firefox-0.8-i686-pc-linux-gnu-de-DE.tar.gz
oder
http://firefox.stw.uni-duisburg.de/downloads/0.8/firefox-0.8-i686-linux-gtk2+xft-de-DE.tar.gz

Das ist wohl die Lösung. Ich brings nur nicht übers herz das am Paketsystem vorbei zu installieren wenn man schon ein so schönes hat :ugly:
Naja, eigentlich kommts eh nicht so drauf an :)
