Hi.
Samba usw. läuft, der Rechner selbst wird unter XP erkannt, allerdings habe ich keine Berechtigung drauf zuzugreifen.
Ich möchte für ALLE Rechner im Netzwerk ein Verzeichnis freigeben.
Ich benutzte Swat zum einrichten, deswegen wäre es nett wenn mir jemand eben erklärt was ich wo einstellen muss.

hmmm....

ich habe zwar noch nie guest zugriff gebraucht, aber ich versuch trotzdem einmal:

samba referenz (http://www.15bit.de/sambaref/) unter "G" wie guest nachsehen

hier kannst du einen user angeben, mit welchen der "guest" zugriff stattfinden soll.

diesen user must du dann, so glaube ich, noch mittels smbpasswd ein samba passwort geben.

ausserdem steht unter den globals auch noch guest ok = NO

ich weiß aber nicht ob die globals höher als die sektionen ziehen.

Zur Not reichts auch wenn ich speziell für einen Rechner eine Freigabe machen kann. Für eine 10 Mann Lan reicht das. :-)

Erstmal im Vorraus,der Nachteil von SWAT ist es,das eine Menge an Optionen in die smb.conf geschrieben werden und das macht die ganze Geschichte unübersichtlich. Liess Dir lieber mal 2-3 Tutorial durch und poste Fragen zu Optionen als mit dem SWAT zu spielen...

Die einfachste Freigabe:

smb.conf

dann noch schnell das Verzeichniss erstellen:

test@linuxforen.de # mkdir /tmp/samba
test@linuxforen.de # chmod 777 /tmp/samba

Das ist das simpelste an Konfiguration,musst halt rum spielen =) ....

Und selbst die simpelste Konfiguration funktioniert nicht. Verdammte *******e ich gehe gleich auffne Lan und hab Linux in dem Himmel gelobt, besonders im Punkt Stabilität und Netzwerk. Und jetzt bin ich zu doof einen Ordner freizugeben? Die lachen mich aus. Helft mir verdammt.
Vielleicht kann mir jemand ne CFG schreiben.
Ich bin in der Arbeitsgruppe LAN.
Der Ordner (und nur dieser ordner) /home/manuel/freigabe soll allen Benutzern im Netzwerk zugänglich sein, allerdings sollen sie keine Schreibrechte auf den Ordner haben.

Damit ein Benutzer sich auf eine Samba-Freigabe einloggen kann,muss Samba ihn in der eigen Datenbank gelistet haben.

test@linuxforen.de # smbpasswd -a flo (benutzer deiner anderen computer z.b rudi oder hali wie sie halt heissen)

Dabei ist es zu beachten das die Option -a genutzt wird,da ansonsten nur das Passwort geändert wird. Dazu kommt,dass wenn es das erstemal ist das ein Benutzer mit smbpasswd angelegt wird, Samba eine Fehlermeldung bringt, das die Datenbank nicht existiert. Das sit aber nicht weiter schlimm da die Datenbank nun,mit dem hinzufügen des neuen Users erstellt wurde.

Naja das mit dem Loben ist immer so eine Sache, ich würde an deiner stelle diesen Thread hier und den des folgenden Linkes speicher bzw. in eine Datei hauen und dann halt auf der LAN weiter tüfteln... Denn wenn du nämlich genau liesst und halt das machst was da steht, ist es kein Problem ein blödes Verzeichnis freizugeben...
