Hallo Community
ich soll auf einem Server, der hinter einer Firewall steht den BigBrother Client installieren. Die Firewall hat eine fixe IP.

Jetzt habe ich zwei Probleme:
1. Wie kann ich die Pingprobe bei diesem Host abstellen? Die Firewall blockt den Ping, dadurch gäbe es nur Alarme.

2. Wie kommt der Monitoringserver an die Daten? Sendet der Client diese oder holt der Server diese? Dies ist sehr wichtig, da ich die Firewall demenstrechend konfigurieren muss

Auf bb4.com habe ich bis jetzt noch nichts gefunden, was mich weiter brachte.

Use either the noping or noconn option in bb-hosts for the servers in
question. Read the docs for an explaination of differences between the
two.
