Kaffeine (Xine-basierter KDE Player)

Schon drei Tage alt, aber noch nicht erwähnt und absolut erwähnenswert:


Fixed:

* moving playlist entries
* font encoding in the xine configuration dialog.
* the jerking time button
* a conflict with KDE 3.2 installation files
* some problems with xine-lib rc3b

And thats new:

* all meta/length information and CDDB entries are read on loading
* improved Kaffeine Setup dialog
* navigation in DVD menus with arrow keys and enter
* autoloading support for multiple subtitle files; selection in the
subtitle combobox of the main window
* automatic resize feature: main window will be adapted to the video
frame size
* playlist statusbar shows total entries and total play time
* file dialogs: remembers last directory; filter for all supported
media formats
* the --device switch sets DVD device too, path will no longer be saved
in the xine configuration
* parser for ram (real-time) playlists
* possibility to turn equalizer on/off
* support for audiocd:// URLs (audiocd kio-slave)
* konqueror servicemenus
* kpart/embedded: made the quicktime trailers on
http://www.apple.com/trailers working; the "coffee bean" button starts
playback in Kaffeine externally
* 16 translations now

Requires now xine-lib 1.0rc3!

Wie integriert sich das Teil denn? Also bei mir ist das bis jetzt einfach nur ein ganz normaler Player, der aufgeht wenn ich ne Videodatei im Konqueror anklicke....

Wie integriert sich das Teil denn?
Es kann Drag&Drop :ugly:

Es bringt eine KPart Komponente mit, und kann damit z.B. im Konqueror Fenster laufen.

Es fügt sich ins Konqueror Servicemenü (und natürlich das KDE Menü) ein.

Es hat ein Kicker-Applet dabei.

Es ist wirklich erstaunlich, was der so alls kann. ...und man muss es erst entdecken. Viele Bequemlichkeiten sind auf dem ersten Blick überhaupt nicht ersichtlich. Ich werde vermutlich noch Jahre staunen. Auch die Sammlungsverwaltung ist per DragAndDrop mit dem Konqueror zu verwenden. Gut wenn man wie ich nachträglich die Dateien verschiebt.

Eine Tolle Arbeit

Da der Thread sich hier auf die allererste Kaffeine-Version bezieht mach ich den mal zu. Die Frage bzgl ccd in der aktuellen Version von Ariel habe ich hier (http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?t=218795) hin verschoben.
