Jo, die DCOM98 Installation schlaegt fehl, output von winex gibts hier (http://home.nexgo.de/daemia/wine/dcom-install.err) .
Offensichtlich findet er dlls net, installation von winex cvs nach dem howto von hier (linuxforen.de). Genaueres hierzu steht in diesem Thread (http://www.linuxforen.de/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=126410) .

Wieso, laut frankscorner usw soll man die 98er nehmen. Und anscheinend funktioniert es ja auch bei jedem, nur bei mir net. :D

@hybrid: naja, so ganz alleine bist du net :D

Also gibt's denn da nirgends eine Standardlösung, das man sich ein Tarball entpackt und gut ist? Also so eine Sammlung mit DCOM98, i6comp und dem neuen InstallShield Zeugs (*.msi)?
Wäre nämlich nicht schlecht, wenn man das manuell machen könnte und nicht darauf vertrauen muss, dass bei der Installation auch wirklich alles glatt läuft ;)

Und das ganze nochmal fuer WineX aka Cedega. :)
Hab mir gerade mal wieder Cedega CVS raufgehauen und das gleiche Problem wieder: dcom98 laesst sich net installieren (Fehlermeldung er koennte die net registrieren, Schreibrechte auf die *reg ist 644).

Ich benutz cvscedega (installiert mit dem Script von linux-gamers.net), wenn ich WINEDLLOVERRIDES="ole32=n" cvscedega dcom98.exe mach, hab ich denselben Fehler, wenn ich in der ~/.cvscedega/config extra fuer dcom98.exe\DllOverrides fuer ole32, oleaut32 und das dritte (rpscrt4 oder was) schreib, dass alle nativ geladen werden, habe ich noch immer das Problem.

Also, meine cvscedega-config ist hier (http://home.nexgo.de/daemia/wine/config).
Vielleicht findet ja einer von euch was drinnen, und vielleicht kann einer seine funktionierende config uppen/posten..
